| About Lee | |
| Lee is currently on a sabbatical from his role as the resident choreographer on Billy Elliot The Musical in London, a role he has enjoyed and relished for four years. He will be in a position to freelance on other projects in 2012. Other recent projects over the last two months include, re-staging Billy Elliot material with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the sell out and extended run of Guys and Dolls at Upstairs at the Gatehouse, for which he received a shortlisted nomination in the Off West End Awards 2012 for Best Choreographer. Previously, he has choreographed and directed a multitude of shows and events...from re-staging Billy Elliot Material at the Olivier Awards to choreographing a huge clog dancing flash mob for the BBC!! | |

| Strong background in ballet, jazz and tap. Lee is also an accomplished singer. | |

In 2007 Lee wrote the foundation degree in Musical Theatre for Newcastle College where he is currently the course advisor. He regularly liases with and advises the head of the course with regard to current industry practice and visits the students once a year for workshops/auditions. He last visited in June and delivered two hugely popular master classes. He is an Honorary Vice President of the Tyne Theatre and Opera House Trust and a Patron of the Charlotte Leatherbarrow Foundation. |
